Lisa Rogers is a self-taught artist and the creative heart behind Blonde Wood Arts in Senatobia, MS. What began years ago with hand-painted wooden door hangers has grown into a joyful art career filled with colorful canvases, faith-inspired pieces, handmade banners, custom commissions, and creative projects of every kind.

Lisa believes art should feel welcoming — not intimidating. She loves helping people discover, “Oh… I can do this!” Students are invited to try new techniques, experiment, make mistakes, laugh, and leave with something they created and are truly proud of.

Most children’s classes focus on skill-building and exploration, while adult events lean more toward social, hands-on fun. Many classes are hosted on Lisa’s enclosed back-porch studio (which accommodates up to a dozen guests), but she also brings the experience to schools, churches, homes, and community spaces. Every party includes all supplies — canvas, brushes, aprons, table covers, and paint — so guests simply show up and create.

Students regularly take home new ideas and techniques they’re excited to try again.
